Anyone know how I can remotely change the permissions on a file folder I created...didnt add Users so only Admin can access it. I then reimaged 600 computers with this image <sigh>

I am the site admin so access is not an issue...just need a quick script.

DaLight.......

Thanx a million for the link...with PSEXEC and a little time and tweaking I got it.... funny how it added the correct local accounts just by givng admin full control.....even better...all accounts are ordered correctly now for my new Dir....

Thanx again,

Psexec is excellent isn't it? The Sysinternals utilities are simply amazing.

Another way to do this would be via group policy, on the computer object. You could make a template and apply it, or if in an Active Directory network, apply it via GP. It would have to be applied to the OU where the COMPUTERS are, something people miss a lot.
