Hi all,
I am trying to connect another system from my comp by right clicking on my computer and selecting manage- right click on computer management and putting the IP address of the system I want to connect but I am getting a error msg as WMI: Access denied, could any of you guys plz tell me solution for this... :roll:

1. Are both PCs in a Workgroup or Domain?
2. Do you have Administrative rights on the PC you're trying to connect to?

Hey I got it resoled, I connected the comp by dameware and restarted the services Remote Access Auto Connection Manager on client comp this resolved the issue.

Was the destination PC on a remote network?

this is probably a remote client that the poster is trying to connect to since he/she used dameware. if it were in a LAN on a domain environment and having admin rights then there would be no problem connecting to clients via computer management console. the same thing in a workgroup environment however it should be noted that the account being used should exist on both machines.
