Since this is a usb device, you can try checking the output of "dmesg" right after you plug the device in. Once you determine the hardware details, visit the support web site of the manufacturer to see if there are any official drivers for it. If not, googling for "linux+[your_wifi_model]" will most likely yield some useful results about the linux support status for your card and any unofficial drivers project (a good place to check is also the

). Specific installation instructions should be provided along with the driver -also take a look at the

-, but in most cases they will involve compiling and loading a module for your linux kernel, so you will need to have the source code for your kernel in /usr/src.
