You can find pointless yours-versus-mine rantings on most of the forums out there. However I'm pleased that on this site they are few and far between. This is one of the few places you can get intelligent and reasoned discussion that brings up useful things in its wake and generally profits everybody. I've learned lots of useful things just by silently following other people's debates. I hope we continue to openly share both our knowledge and ignorance for the benefit of all. And long may our moderators continue to maintain the good standards we enjoy on our forums

I actually prefer BSD, but each has its place. I'll take OpenBSD and PF over IPtables anyway . I haven't had any trouble with driver or hardware support either, other than WLAN. Maybe I just have more generic hardware.
