Is CentOS a replacement for RHEL 4? was created by MobyChien
I found the following article about REHEL clones:
news.com.com/Programmers+bypass+Red+Hat+...0-7344_3-5632434.htm
My questions are:
1. Has anyone had any working experience with the CentOS 4?
2. Can I replace RHEL 4 with CentOS4?

I have started using CentOs 4 (final) as my DeskTop system since last 2 weeks and i m very happy with it.
As far as i have noticed the binaries are all in their respective places when compared with RH.
I also have CentOs 3.3 on many of my production servers and no probs till date.
Its like "Old wine in a New bottle" . Would love to hear more views of the ppl around on the board.
Cheers
