You can find a list of the mirrors at the official site,
www.slackware.org
.
Also a hint: when you give google the name of a project such as slackware or iptables, among the first results should always be the official site, and the official sites are the best source of information and downloading.
I really didn't mind answering, it's just a well-ment advise so that you won't have to wait for someone to answer such simple things and we don't enlarge the database here for nothing

Both Smoothwall and IPcop use IPtables. Actually iptables is by far the best implementation for the netfilter infrastructure of the linux kernel (if there is any other currently). So what changes is only the interface and here we come to what Chris said about and is totally right: If you desire a better understanding rather than a faster implementation then GUIs won't help

ive downloaded both ipcop and smoothwall. they provide a web gui interface for administering the firewall but basically i find them with the same concept and feel. my question is are these enough to hold a corporate type of network? what i mean is that are these good enough for a network firewall or is setting up a box with serious ip table config the best way to go

They are both stable enough for corporate firewalls, I have implemented both in medium size environments. They came from the same codebase, IPCOP is a fork of Smoothwall.
The GUI's are great as everyone said, but you best learn iptables the hard way.
