LCDproc Project - LCD Display for Linux ! was created by Chris
For those interested in electronics (like myself), there is a neat program called LCDproc which allows you to interface an LCD display to your Linux box ! The results can be awesome, depending on the size of your display.
I just managed to get mine working today and will be posting a few pics of it once the "My network" page is complete !
You can get a copy of the program and detailed information at lcdproc.omnipotent.net/index.php3

ITs a cool project, but I have found a problem with the software !
There must be a memory leak in the software because it keeps on chewing up ram, to the point where it uses 140MB's of ram !!!
At that point the server is slow like hell, so I kill the LCD program.
I've notified the guy and he has some silly patches which you need to spend alot of time to figure out, where he could easily update the main download file.
