SendMail and SMTP ! was created by Manip
What the hell is wrong with SendMail. According to the SMTP protocol it should be possible to send mail without the need for a domain name (Domain names being shortcuts to IP's after all...) so in theory you should be able to send an e-mail to Jerk@123.456.789.11 or something. Most normal mail servers stick to the SMTP protocol as its just logical, but not SendMail... thing is I don't even have to run it for it to effect me, some moron that clearly doesn't care/understand about network security is. Even Microsoft Exchange supports direct IP forwarding.... (* Just thought I would throw that in... *)

Hmm sounds reasonable, though I haven't read the SMTP RFC.
Either way I'm sure theres a way to make sendmail do it. I'll ask a couple of people around here.
The question is .. but why ?
