red hat 9 kernel was created by adeyinkt
Hi,
I am new to Linux and I need help on this first then other problem will follow.
I will be happy if you guys can guide me through my task at the moment.
I want to build heterogeneous cluster with three computers, install them with red hat 9 and openMosix for testing to show load balancing between the nodes.
I have done the installation of the three nodes with red hat 9 and am facing the problem of how to build the kernel.
The kernel in the red hat 9 is 2.4.20-8.
Do I need to build a new kernel and if so could you please guide me through this step-by-step.
The kernel in the openMosix that I want to use is as follows:
OpenMosix-kernel-2.4.22 –openmosix1.i686.rpm
and openMosix-tools-0.3.4-1-RH80.i386.rpm
Could you please give me the step-by-step guide for all these if you can?
