deleted contents of /boot partion was created by gainil
Hello,
Due to some typing mistake in the /dev/fstab file my /boot partition was mounted in a different folder, Which I deleted accidently. I tried to boot the system with the boot DVD, I have lost all the contents of /boot partion. My pc no more boots in linux.
I have SATA 80 GB and have Centos release 4.4 (Final)
Can any one help??
Thanks in advance

Try booting up via your CD...
Then, mount up your / directory on your hard drive...
Open a shell, move into your new mounted location...
Then try reinstalling GRUB.. Try the following:
grub-install <device> (/dev/hda)
I do not know if this is the problem, but give it a shot...
