I've been using linux for about a year now and I'm looking forward to the years that linux has the same market share as Windows... I know that's not going to happen any time soon, but lets just say Linux is getting more credit nowa-days than it has in the past. Check out this article from the NYTimes and you'll see what I'm talking about...

Neways, I found this site when searching for some networking tutorials for some help. You guys have some good content. Expect to see me around more often. I'll try and be a contributor to the Linux forum :-)

Welcome to the site sc0g, good to have you onboard.
Windows pays my monthly salary but I like to keep abreast of this forum so I can learn a few things. Look forward to your input

Windows pays my monthly salary

IMHO

If you were as good at Linux as you are with Windows, you would be on a yearly salary like me :-) :!:

I would think that is the same thing as a monthly salary times 12.

Year by Year versus Month by Month

Job security? Take your pick. :o

I don't think I could survive being paid just once a year, even if it was a big sum. It must make it even harder to budget for all those monthly bills
