Linpus Linux 8.2... wat is appening...

hey guys just installed linpus linux on my dhcp server but at the end of everything something shows like -

local host then by the left is GNOME the just under the local host which is by the right, there is a prompt for username and password, wat do i do, i got no userame or any password..???

help moi out pls..

If it didn't prompt you for a password during the installation then try typing root as the username and leave the password blank.

You might try searching the distributions site to see if they have a default password.

You can boot the system into single user mode and change the password from there.

hey semper thanks for ur reply i used ur suggestion, long b4 i even made a post. but pending i am using ubuntu, 6.06, its aight and working fine..

still xpecting more suggestions.
