installation of linux was created by arifmscelectronics
hi myself arif. I m trying to install the redhat linux in my pc but it does not allow to do the installation. my pc configuration is : intel pentium dual core. 256 MB of Ram. please tell me what to do. i m trying to install the red hat linux 4 .

acutally in my pc there is window xp ok
then when i put a bootable cd in the cdrom. then the booting start
the pc get hang on the installation process where it is written that running sbin loader.

It appears to be a USB related problem. Try removing all connected USB devices and disabling USB support in the BIOS.

I suppose the problem is with RH Linux 4 on SATA drive, as I found after google'ing.

If you have Fedora Core 4 or Core 5 (CD/DVD) try booting with it and does it proceed further?

yes my hdd is sata. can i install the red hat linux 5 in sata
