I can't telnet my Linux machine directly was created by sulu
Hello guys
One of my Linux based machine is creating telnet problem, let me explain
When do i try to telnet my machine directly through Secre CRT (a telnet s/w) it doesn't give me access to the machine, But if i telnet another machine and then try to telnet this faulty machine through that machine it gives me access. So tell me wht is the reason behind it and wht changes i have to made on this machine to rmove this error.

Could it be an IP filtering restriction of software like TCP-wrappers (check /etc/hosts.allow & /etc/hosts.deny) or IPtables (check iptables -L -v)?
It would be useful to mention your network layout and where is each one of the three hosts you mentioned connected.
Also, some other useful pieces of information you can provide:
- Did the problem appear suddenly?
- What software are you using for telnet server?
- What is your linux distribution (must be quite old if it's using telnet by default!)
