Hi Guys,
I'm setting up my new Log server with solaris 10. After installtion, i'm able to connect to the network with out any problem.But it is not resolving to names when i ping.
I have added the nameserver entry in resolv.conf file and did a nslookup test. The nslookup test passed successfully without any problem.
Output.
# nslookup
> firewall.cx
Server: <DNS -SERVER>
Address: <DNS-SERVER>
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: firewall.cx
Address: 204.157.10.72
> exit
# ping firewall.cx
ping: unknown host firewall.cx
#
Can anyone suggest me a solution for this issue.
