Good effort! I'll have to play around with it. To automate the startup, add the commands to your /etc/rc.d/rc.local file. Also change the last couple of lines:
[code:1]JAVA_HOME="/usr/lib/jdk"
export JAVA_HOME
. /usr/lib/apache-tomcat/bin/sh /usr/lib/apache-tomcat/bin/startup.sh
[/code:1]
[code:1]JAVA_HOME="/usr/lib/jdk"
export JAVA_HOME
. /usr/lib/apache-tomcat/bin/sh /usr/lib/apache-tomcat/bin/startup.sh
[/code:1]

Welcome to firewall.cx, Rycharde!
It would have been better to create a new topic for your post, I'll have a go anyway.
Your problem could be due to a number of factors:
1. Problems with your ISP connection
2. Problems with your modem
3. Problems with your firewall configuration
4. Problems with your firewall hardware
5. Problems with the PCs on your network.
You can generally rule out one or more of the above by performing some tests.
If the problem occurs on more than one PC, then you can probably rule no. 5 out.
If a PC connected directly to your modem works OK then you could also rule out 1 and 2 and look towards the Endian firewall.
Perform these tests first and get back to us.
