I'm not sure its the same. Sandboxie is meant to create a partition. There is no partition on my drive for Chrome. Also Chrome has been attacked by malaware quite a few times.

I've been hearing about sandbox technology for a while now but haven't heard of a mass OS adoption of it. The lack of mass adoption leads me to believe that it's more complex than one would think. With that said, how is a program that I've never heard of able to overcome those complexities and accomplish this? I'd be more interested in knowing HOW it does this. I see they have a forum...maybe they mention it there somewhere.

I don't really have a use to try it out, but I say go for it and see the results. Sometimes unheard of software does a better job than commercial software.

Granted I may pop in a few bucks and upgrade to a bigger flash drive.

To be honest my home computer only has 12.8 gigs on it after 2 years.
