Formatting problem

Well guys, i need your help again.
I need to format a local drive (partition); but when finishing formatting , my dear windows hits me with a beautyful error.
I think this is an internal win error, so i want to ask you for a good soft that can format, or either an answer to the whole problem.

What's the error message?

I believe you should back up all of your personal information. Next get a 98 boot disc, delet your partition using FDISK, create a fresh new one, format and enjoy the idea of know you successfuly started over.

Or you could use partition magic 8.0 lol
