Memory tester was created by sbale
Hi there,

Anybody know of a good memory testing software/diagnostic tool i can use? I need to test a whole lot of memory chips which were not clearly separated/marked into "those working properly" and "those which are faulty". It really is time consuming to setup a pc and then later realise that the pc is not performing well because of the faulty memory. So instead of using trial and error, is there a tool i can install on one pc and then test all the chips one by one so i know which ones are faulty?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have used a product called PCCheck for some time now. I am sure there are others out there though.

... or you could use Memtest which can be downloaded and burnt as a bootable CD. It can then be run on any PC without installation.

Microsoft also has a pretty good memory tester.
And it's free!
