IP Address Displayed In E-Mail Headers

I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum. I'd sent an e-mail from my Hotmail account to Yahoo. I was curious to see if the IP of my Laptop would be shown. So I expanded my Full Headers. What do I see, my real IP address.

So, When I send e-mails to either friends or someone else, the other person, can easily find out my real IP.

Isn't it a little bit scary to give real IP's like that?

Fallen Zero --

If your looking for some cheesy way to "hide" on the internet then I might suggest using a free proxy and hide behind their IP.
Check out this link for more links.... :)

Tangent:
Your screen name means what?

* A fallen zero (0) equals one (1) who could never speak...
-- OR --
* You dont have happy little ones and zeros?? :)

Hello Jack,

You rightly said it so.

PC -> Proxy A -> Proxy B -> Proxy C . . . . . . . . . . . . .Proxy Z

I' did not understand the Philosophy behind using Proxy Servers though.

Why would anyone want to use Proxies to surf the internet if their motivations are not malicious? Let's say for discussion sake, if anyone wants to perform illegal activities, I can see it is possible to trace back to the original PC. I'm sure it is not an easy process. Why would I say it? Say, one is using 100 Proxy Servers located in 100 different countries. Any thoughts?

As far as What FallenZer0 is? If I say it on a public forum like this. . . . . . . . . . . . all I can say it's something deep rooted
