Anyone have any ideas for a Master's Thesis related to computer networking or Information Assurance?

Not really. I believe it was called a "Master's Paper".

Formula for creating a thesis paper:
Have a theroy, make a prediction and spend rest of paper supporting the prediction:
The need for x will go ? in the future because of y.
?= up or down on the bias you choose
x= networking administrators
y= number of networks
Example a :
The need for routers will go up in the future because IPv6 allows for cheaper network address availiablity.
?= up
x= routers
y= IPV6 IP address availablity
You could expand further:
The ______ for/of will/is/was/untill _____ because ______.
The growth of internet is emmense because X?
The Demand for Security will go up/down because.
The Internet did not get big untill x because?

Honestly picking a topic is very easy you just have to create a theory about something then debug your own thoughts on the matter. If I was going to do a topic right now it would be about the future security of network jobs given the current state of the economy, general job trends and the effects future technology.
For example I could easilly say (one way or the other) that I thought jobs were going to be more or less secure because of those factors and I would then have to support the reasons why.
There is a simple rule with a thesis:
You have to predict or explain your thoughts on a subject.
You have thoughts all the time just explain them, you shouldn't need someone else to help you "think of a thought".
Why did is something in networking the way it is.
or
What/why do you think something in networking was or will be.
or
How do you think something in networking effects something else.
Please note I'm not calling you dumb or anything like that by saying you shouldn't need someone else to help you think. I just think it's important that on your masters thesis... it ends up actually being yours. Try to pick something meaningful.
