inter-vlan routing was created by Babu
hi,
first of all, sorry for my bad english
ok, i have a 1912 cisco switch and a 2501 cisco router.
Is it possible to do inter-routing vlan with the 2501 ? I think it required 100 mbps to make a trunk ? And my 2501 have only one 10 mbps ethernet port.
thank you

Babu,
Unfortunately your out of luck.
Inter-Vlan routing is not supported by the 2500 series routers.
The restriction is not the ethernet interface (you can perform vlan routing on a 10 mbit interface), but the fact that the Cisco IOS will not support it.
I found the following document on Cisco's website which outlines the various commands introduced for specific IOS versions and Cisco routers. You will see that Vlan support starts from the 2600 series routers:

cheers,
