Network Traffic Monitoring Tools

Hi Guys,

Do you have any tools used to monitor your network traffic, top-users, top-listeners, top-talkers, and top-protocols and open-source without using netflow, if there is, just like NTOP or other sniffer? Thanks.

Yes, its been a while, I'm quite busy this past few months reviewing CCNA and luckily I have passed the exam, I am now a CCNA.

Thanks for the input Talk2sp, but what specific product of GFI can do that? As far as I know GFI LANguard is used for protecting desktops by checking patches and vulnerabilities in desktop system, please correct me if I am wrong.
