Hi - we use VoIP (15 users) on an 8meg adsl line with a fax machine running through the same line. we seem to be experiencing drop-offs in service when a fax comes through, talking to our VoIP provider they say that a fax machine on the same line should not affect the service, however that some fax machines do affect internet connectivity. does anyone have any experience of this?
obviously taking the fax off and putting it on a different line is the obvious answer, but this will cause us to have to change all letterheads which is going to be a pain!
