Error which i don't understand...plzzzzzzzzzz help me ! was created by blesson
Hi ,
When I try to access a particular web site I get the error below ...After numerous attempts to get in I get the site but that particular site goes down after the PC reboots but this site and its ip address has a positive ping test when I get the error..can any one help me out in resolving the issue...the OS on my comp is Win XP Pro SP2.
THE ERROR IS :-
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.33 Server at www........ Port 80

this is an apache configuration issue.
the root directory has access blocked to keep people from viewing the directory structure.
the second error means they either have a custom error page defined and the server can't find it, or the server doesn't have permission to read the error page so it can't display it.
notify the site admin to get this fixed. there is nothing you can do about it... unless, of course, you are the site admin.
