I believe the Bishop has once again hit the nail on the head.
It does sound like o2oigo is trying to use a wireless router as a wireless card, and this could be possible as long as the router supports the modes the Bishop has mentioned.
In the case it does, I would suggest searching for a possible firmware update which might just give you the 'extra' functionality you require!
