Fujitsu Speedport RA14 DSL Modem

I have a Fujitsu Speedport RA14 DSL Modem that I connect to the internet via Verizon Wireless. I have experienced some connection problems when I am using a web application; It tends to disconnect me intermitently. Has anyone experieced this type of problem on this type of modem, if so can you give me any tips on how to configure the modem to avoid this problem.

Have u any other connection problems with this modem? on other web apps or problems with general web access? what web app is it you are using?..

if you go to your modem properties via the control panel, check the idle time settings and also run a "query modem" test to check for connectivity problems.

I dont see how a webapp can disconnect you from the net...

what is the application in question.. is it something proprietary or is it something generic

From some research that I did, I found that the firmware could be out of date, I updated the firmware and then as if by magic, the issue went away. Thank you to all that replied and I hope that I will be able to assist you in the near future.
