hi everybody,
i had an idea of setting up a wireless mesh router using already available radio cards(or take it as single card router).
so dat one card can connect to clients on one channel and the other to the mesh backbone routers on another channel. these two cards can be interconnected through a lan cable .
i also need to implement some routing protocols over the mesh router. so i guess i will need to write some kernel program so that the protocols realise the underlying hardware as one unit.
am i off the track? will simple bridging of two cards suffice for my purpose?
please help
