Wanna watch local Tv on holiday??

I've been looking around at Slingbox's. They look great, and i think i'm gonna get one. But i'd like some feedback first to see if n e 1 has one already. I don't wanna throw 150 squid away on something thats no good... any one got any tips please?? Cheers

My friend has one and in my mind its not worth it. I would look into the tv video cards or Directv / cable tv video cards for your laptop or pc. But here is a better question why are you watching TV on vacation?
