Anybody out there know if Mandriva Linux can be used on a Macintosh iMac?

I don't know about mandriva but (k)ubuntu has a PPC distro. So why not try it out??

OS X has never given me any problems before. I'm just getting a little curious about the linux environment, so I want to whipe my Mac.
