Can you try the keyboard on another computer? Or a different keyboard on the same computer?

Try a driver update and making sure the keyboard shows up under your hardware / devices menu.

Try this:
Control Panel > Regional and language options > Languages
press "Details" button. Make sure that you have the English (United States) Or any English key board. And make sure it is the default.

Have you checked your number lock key? Also have a look and make sure you don't have a function key light. In the past, I've noticed with some keyboards, if the one of the function keys is on, the numbers don't work.
Hope that helps.
