Are the new slingboxes any good??

i've been looking aroung=d at the new Slingbox's, and want to know if they are worth there money and who is doing the best deals on them.

I don't like them or think its worth the money.

Personally I don't see the point; there are increasing numbers of 'Products looking for an application' out there and to me this is one more. But then I'm a grumpy old luddite who won't even buy an Ipod...

I'm a fan of all gadget, even pointless ones! And I quite like this one.

Bishop, you may be a luddite, but at least you know what a Slingbox is. I thought is was some kind of new footware :oops: so, could someone enlighten me as to what a slingbox is and what it does.
