On the 1st page of this thread Jack and Jhun had a nice long discussion on telnet, that's pretty much all there is to telnet, its pretty old and forgotten by now, and kind of being replaced by programs that have the same capabilities but with GUI.
In response to your requests for us teach you "everything" about computers : I'm sure that if we had time we would teach you everything we know about computers, but thats not possible, nor is it the way it works--for numerous reasons. If you want to learn a little bit of everything about computers, we could help you with that, but you have to do some work too, and its gonna take a lot of reading, experimenting, and being in the right environment, but that's OK, when you read you learn, and learning is fun , thats how most of us learned...first start with simple plaths to obtain the knowledge you are seeking, this site contains LOTS of information. If you want more sources, look around in the forums, sometimes other members post links to other sources which hold lots of info too. I don't like using google, so I won't tell you to go search in google, but sometimes it's necessary. Don't take this personal, just trying to help you, just trying to guide you. In the computer field, knowing where to get information is very important.
