Info about VRFs was created by TheBishop
I'm taking over responsibility for a link between two data centres that has multiple channels over a common fat pipe. The channels are separated with a combination of VRFs and VLANs. I'm familiar with the basic concept of VRF but the documents out on the 'net seem a bit wooly. Can anyone recommend a document/webpage that overviews VRFs more clearly?

I assume you can find the Cisco documentation/wiki and I bet you already have. I've always found YouTube to be a great source for getting up to speed on a subject quickly.

Thanks Nevins, that's exactly what I was looking for.
Yes I looked at the Cisco stuff and Wikipedia and a few other places but they didn't seem to explain it incisively enough

Yep. No problem. Glad I can actually help you for a change. VRF seems like vlan's for routers (vwans if you will).
