Hi folks,
i went and configure ip address in switch and by default it is being assinged an ip address by DHCP and i made it static by giving command,
Switch(config)#interface fa0/12
Switch(config-if)#ip address 192.168.1.150 255.255.255.0
Switch(config-if)#
Then i came into my browser, enter this ip address, it ask whether i need secure connection or not, i said NO that's it i can able to see switch in GUI as well as in command prompt (enable telnet through GUI, if switch is not configure through console, however to give ip address to switch, must connect to console)
