Multiple Subnets in a Single OSPF Area was created by Viecks
Hi all,
I've been reading the forum for a little while now, but am new to posting - so Hi!
I'm having trouble grasping something when it comes to OSPF.
If there are multiple subnets in an area (thus multiple DR/BDR's).
1. Is it all route summarization within the area that allows the neighbors to communicate across subnets?
2. Since there are multiple DR/BDR's - do they do anything special within the area?
Thanks for you help guys!
