The sending host will broadcast an ARP request for the MAC address. The receiving host will respond back with the MAC address if it's in the same broadcast domain.

amiit, It works as KiLLaBeE said. But I'm Not sure I understand you question. Do you want to find the MAC address of your PC's NIC ? Or another PC on the network? Or ....?

i just wana say to S0lo that...in OSI model, when Segmant received by Datalink Layer, the Desitination IP Address has already been mention in the IP header Atteched with Segment. but In data link Layer when Datalink Header Attech with Segment, Desination MAC Address is to be Specified in Datalink Header......here is my Question :?: ...how does Frame find the Desination MAC Addrees to specify in Frame Header?????

The answer to your question lies in my first post, but to expand on my answer...

The receiving host will receive the broadcast ARP request and respond to it, informing the sender what its MAC address is. The sender will then have the last piece of information to send it off.
