there are two servers providing wireless connection to a WLAN of 7 pc's..
the tow servers have an ethernet and wireless connection
..
however one of the servers seems to always have connectivity problems...
when on server which i think is the ''real server" is on the other server has internet connection but it usually lasts 30 min and loses connection..
what could be causin a packet timeout btwn the 2 servers and yet there are the only ones with an ethernet connection...

Are the servers sharing an AP or do they have one each?
Can you give us the IP addresses of the server NIC cards and the range of IP addresses for the hosts as well?
Are the servers/AP's close geographically?
First thought is that if you have 2 AP's, they may be on the same channel and thus interfering with each other. If so, they need to be on non overlapping channels. In the UK, this means channels 1, 6 or 11 if you're using 802.11b/g. The channels may be different if you're using 802.11a.

Hi,

one of the servers seems to always have connectivity problems.....
This means, one server(1st server) works fine, check the configuration on this server, update the same on 2nd server. If the above mentioned are access point or routers converted as an access point make sure the latest firmware is updated and powercycle the routers. this will fix the frequent disconnection issue.
