As per my understanding, below is the real time IP DSLAM network setup.

VOIP--LPF(for phone)--->CPE(Modem)--->(LT)DSLAM(NT)-->BRAS-->ISP
IP TV
Computer

Someone Please clarify my below doubts...
Whether ethernet or ATM is used between CPE and DSLAM ?
How PPPoE / PPPoA is used between CPE and DSLAM?
How connection establishes between CPE and ISP ?
I know Phone data is separated using a LPF known as splitter but How IPTV, VOIP, Computer data is distinguished ?
What are all the protocols run between CPE and DSLAM ?

Thanx in Advance for your replies....

Regards,
Vell.

Whether ethernet or ATM is used between CPE and DSLAM ?

Answer:ATM mode data transfer will happen between CPE and DSLAM(ASAM,ESAM & IP DSLAM)

How PPPoE / PPPoA is used between CPE and DSLAM?

Answer: Depends what type of DSLAM you are using.
For example,DSLAM is ATM based then we need to configure the CPE in PPPoA mode.IF DSLAM is Ethernet based then we need to configure the CPE in PPPoE mode

What are the protocol used between the CPE and DSLAM?

Answer:Depends on what application that you use.

Remaining thing I don't have idea.
