Are you talking about Logical Address being an IP Address because this is configured depending on the subnet you are in and Physical Address being the Hardware address of your NIC as generally this is an hard coded MAC (Media Access Control) address that isn't changed (although it can be changed within software)

logical addr=== ip address(used for communicating between diff networks)
physical addr=== Mac address(for communicating between peers i.e., PCs ,between switch ports)
