A DHCP relay agent is a server/router that will listen in on the DHCP port and relay DHCP packets to the DHCP server that it is configured with.

DHCP functionality on the clients remain the same.

A DHCP relay agent can be setup on a Windows Server 2003 through Routing and Remote Access.
