Layer 2 and Layer 3 switch was created by Benny
HI all,
I have question about layer2 and layer 3 switching . Please help me.
How can we configure a 65XX switch as a Layer 2 switch? When can we say that the 65XX is acting as a Layer 2 switch?
Thanks in advance
Ben

Hi,
AFAIK all ports of 65xx switches are L2 ports so you have to enable them with no switch port command to do L3 functions.
But 65xx switches are L3 by default so you have to issue no ip routing command to disable L3 routing.
