How Long can you strech a normal UTP Cable for ?
and does the switch counts as a repeater ?

To answer your question, normal UTP CAT5 cable can be stretched upto 100 meters.
Your second question regarding the switch and repeater is extreamly broad for me to answer. If you give me a particular example, I might be able to give you an answer [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
