My last post on the topic may have been a bit too broad to get any useful replies.
So as per "someone's" advice I'll narrow it down.
I'm looking to build a home lab for my CCNP and beyond (CCIE seems impossible) I'd like to get nailed down what routers to get. 1600, 1700, or 2600. Any others I should consider? All 3 of one series? One of each? Any specific model to look for?
1600's too small? 2600's too big? Need fast Ethernet interface, or is Ethernet 10baseT ok?
Any suggestions ,comments or funny stories are welcome...
