VOIP

Hi Guyz,

I have one BIG question about VOIP setup ...


My PC is connected to VOIP Phone and my VOIP is connected to Network Port.

When i check my PC IP address i am getting 199.50.X.X

also when i check my VOIP network settings i am getting IP 10.1.X.X

My question is

How its possible me to get 2 ip address ? when we have single connectivity for PC & VOIP.

PC configured for DHCP ....


Can any one help me in this ..

Most of IP phones contain a small switch. The connexion between the IP phone and the network is a trunk that carries two VLANs: one for the VoIP traffic and one for the PC's traffic. The connexion between the PC and the IP phone carries only the PC VLAN. As the two end devices (the phone and the PC) are in different VLANs, they use different IP subnets.

Are you using any USB cable between your Computer and Modem
