It's the power they feel they have because 90% or so of the windows users don't bother to check an other browser since internet explorer is already installed
On my site, Internet explorer does several bugs, one of whom is serious (stucks IE in a loop) and simply doesn't make sense, since it comes from a simple PHP script of few lines length (on it's simplest form... it's one function long ).. ! I wonder how on earth did they manage to screw up with the clean html output of a server side language. I've writen the script with 2-3 different ways and it keeps doing it.. So I just placed a warning on top for the users of IE to get a serious browser. :evil:
