I just learned the straight through wiring of UTP, the T568A and T568B. But I don't understand why we MUST wire the cable? If we don't do that, what will happen?
I have made a cable with UTP5 by myself. I mean, I cut & made the RJ45 plug myself. I didn't wired any twist, I just array the 4 pairs paratacticly, like Wh-G/G, Wh-Bl/Bl, Wh-O/O, Wh-Br/Br. I found if the cable is short, like 2-3 meters, it is ok, but if the cable is longer, like 30-40 meters, it is not available.
Please who can tell me why?
