DNS and Exchange Setup with NAT and router was created by simon336697
Hi Gurus, any help greatly appreciated.
Goal/s:
Set up home DNS Server (Windows 2000) which is a primary DNS Server. It will resolve both internal and external host names.
Set up home Exchange Server 2K. ISP will forward all mail for my domain to my Exchange.
Question/s:
If I have a router with a statically assigned IP, how should I configure nat with respect to Exchange and DNS Server which are on 2 different machines?
What information does my ISP need about my DNS and exchange server? Do they require more than one public ip address that I have? And what records as far as DNS do they need?
Can I NAT both the Exchange and DNS server to one public IP and just give them that?
Really appreciate your help.
