You can have two root ports on a switch for different VLANs if you are running PVST or MST. This is not default behavior, but is configurable through VLAN port priorities.

jwj, as per zenzippy network I hope only NATIVE vlan is there..!

If you are focusing on only the original spanning tree specification, 802.1d, then yes, spanning tree runs only over the native VLAN. Now zenzippy never mentioned the capability of his switches, or whether he used VLANs, he just asked whether it's possible to have two root ports on a switch. The answer is yes as I explained in the previous post.
