I seem to beable to do the math behind the subnetting that I have in my book but I do not understand what it really means. If for instance I have 4 subnets in a class C address that gives me 62 nodes per network correct ? does that mean that i use 255.255.255.192 for every single subnet ? and how does each group for instance the first 62 nodes 192.168.0.1-62 know that they are seperated from 192.168.0.129-190? maybe where i am confused is the difference between a subnet and a Network? are those two words interchangable can you say that theese two nodes are in different subnets but the same network? are all 4 of theese subnets in the same network 192.168.0.0 and if so what am I missing?
